Corel is declaring this season the “Summer of Appventure.” It’s a cheesy name, but it’s nothing you can’t endure to get your hands on four free apps made for iPhone, iPad, Mac and PC.
Corel’s Slingshot is an app that allows you to take a picture and then immediately share it with your friends on Facebook. It also backs up your photos to a private album so if anything gets deleted, you always have a spare.
Corel PostCard is a pretty self explanatory app that allows you to take any picture, customize it and send out a postcard with the image. Each postcard is professionally printed and cost 99 cents to send.
If you’re looking for a way to deal with the mountain of photos on your phone, Corel QuickSort is an app designed for you. You can sort through and pick your favorite photos from your collection and tag others as “good” for simpler browsing in the future.
Beep Beep Coloring Books, Corel’s final new app, isn’t aimed at photographers at all but instead at children. It turns your iPad into a simple, mess-free coloring book.
