Sony World Photography Awards Jury Announced

Photo Awards.jpgThere are plenty of photo competitions out there, but there are a few that stand out among the others. The Sony World Photography Awards is one of those – the prizes and the prestige are top notch.

Today, the judges for the competition were revealed and it’s a fine looking lineup. Commercial categories will be judged by James Reid of Wallpaper, Rebecca Lewis of Art+ Commerce and Indian photographer Prabuddha Dasgupta.

Photojournalism and documentary shots will be judged by Claudia Hinterseer of NOOR, Jon Jones of the Sunday Times and South African photographer Jodi Bieber. Fine art will be handled by Prix Picet director Michael Benson, curator and writer Susan Bright and Japanese photographer Shizuka Yokomizo.

If you’re looking to enter the competition, you have until January 4th to get your entries in.
