The latest camera to come from Leica is the V-Lux 3. It boasts a 12.1 megapixel sensor that’s capable of not only high quality photos, but 1080p video at 60 frames per second.
The video functionality goes beyond just recording. You can convert the video you’ve shot into another format or even edit it down right on your camera. You’ll also have the benefit of a stereo microphone that includes a wind filter for undisturbed sound.
The V-Lux 3 is capable of shooting at up to 12 frames a second at full resolution and Leica says that you’ll get a response from the autofocus in under a tenth of a second so you’ll get nice clear photos while shooting. If you can deal with a resolution of 3.5 megapixels, you’ll be able to shoot at an impressive 60 frames a second.
The V-Lux 3 will be hitting retailers in January at an MSRP of $ 949.
