Early this morning Panasonic USA announced four new models to add to their popular TS and ZS Lumix camera lines. The DMC-ZS20 and DMC-ZS15 boast almost identical features, with the ZS20 offering a bit more resolution (14 vs 12-megapixels), a longer 20x zoom lens, and built-in GPS. Both cameras also offer a large 3.0-inch “Smart Touch” LCD screen, 10fps burst shooting at full resolution, intelligent Auto exposure control, optical image stabilization, 3D still options, and so much more.
Next we have two new “Lifeproof” cameras, the DMC-TS20 and DMC-TS4. These models replace their respective predecessors from last year (the TS10 and TS3) with some notable upgrades. The TS20 remains as their more affordable lifeproof camera, which still boasts some impressive features, like being waterproof down to 16 feet, shockproof from up to a 5 foot drop, freezeproof, etc. It also sports a 16-megapixel image sensor, 4x optical zoom lens, 720p HD video, and a new Miniature Effect mode to name a few. The DMC-TS4 takes things to the next level with even tougher specifications, being waterproof down to 40 feet and shockproof from a 6.6 foot drop. It also gives you a slightly longer 4.6x zoom, Full HD video (1080/60i), and built-in GPS with barometer log, compass, altimeter, etc.
