Photo expos are exciting events to read
about, what with all the new gear and big announcements, and they’re
a blast to attend. The problem is that they’re almost entirely
industry focused, and general consumers don’t get to go.
The PMA is changing this up a bit with
the Big Photo Show, which brings consumers together with suppliers,
retailers, labs and other industry pros. The first ever Big Photo
Show will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on May 4th
and 5th from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
In addition to getting to go hands on
with exciting new products, attendees will get tips and tricks from
the pros, learn about new services and find new communities of
photographers to connect with.
“The Big Photo Show is all about
passionately promoting the growth of photography, videography and
photo printing,” says PMA president Allen Showalter. “I could not
be more excited about this event, and the opportunities it will bring
to exhibitors, attendees and our membership.”
