The iPad is a very cool device, but it’s not exactly the most portable thing in the world. On the other side of the spectrum you’ve got the iPhone and iPod – also great, but the small screens make a lot of tasks impractical. Enter the iPad Mini.
The iPad Mini comes in at 7.9 inches and boasts a 1,024 x 768 resolution. It’s designed as a sort of entry-level tablet, and comes in at $ 329. Expect to pay around $ 460 if you want to add 4G LTE capabilities. Either way, the price is very appealing.
Apple also announced a 4th generation iPad which doesn’t bring too much new to the table. It’s more of an incremental improvement that boasts more processing power, dual-band Wi-Fi and the same Lightning port as on the iPhone 5.
