Late last year Adobe announced that the plan for upgrades was going to be changing. Under the new policy, only people that owned CS5 would be eligible for a discount. Since historically Adobe offered discounts to owners of the last few editions, this move was met with a lot of resistance.
Adobe customers were upset and they weren’t exactly quiet about it. Adobe heard the complaints and has changed their policy to extend discounts to CS3 and CS4 owners for a limited time. Just how much that discount will be is something we’ll have to wait and see.
Adobe says that the discounted offer will be available from the time CS6 is released until December 31, 2012.
