Canon Broadens Professional Service Requirements for More Membership Opportunities

Canon-CPS.pngThe Canon Professional Service program, otherwise known as CPS, is aimed at helping out professionals with all their photo and video needs. Membership benefits range from 24 hour phone support to cheaper repairs, gear loans when your stuff is in the shop and even loans to try out new products.

The folks at Canon have just announced that they’re expanding their service program so more people can get in on it. Instead of having to own specific gear, Canon now has a points system in place, so if your specialties are spread across photography and video you’ll have an easier time qualifying.

Canon also noted that Gold and Platinum CPS members will have access to some special benefits at the PhotoPlus Expo, starting with a private lounge. They’ll also have the opportunity to get a free large format print of their work and have their gear checked out and cleaned.
