It’s no surprise that a company like
Canon would earn itself some awards, but this year the company did
very well for itself indeed. In addition to awards for its consumer
cameras, Canon even pulled in an Emmy for “Improvements
to Large Format CMOS Imagers for Use in High Definition Broadcast
Video Cameras.”

When Yano references the environment,
he’s talking about the company’s selection as one of the 50 Best
Global Green Brands according to Interbrand. Canon was also placed
in the top five for Fortune’s Most Admired Companies list. Well done Canon, well done.
