For the first time ever, there is a U.S. based Canon facility that’s capable of servicing all Canon lens types. The focus should be obvious enough considering the placement of the support center – Canon is all about professional photography of course, but television and film production will certainly be big for the new facility.
“As we enter these new and exciting markets, we are proud to offer Canon’s convenient, timely and high quality service and support to professionals working in and around Hollywood,” says Canon VP and general manager Yuichi Ishizuka, adding that ” This is an amazing time for Canon, as just a few weeks ago we started shipping the new Cinema EOS C300 cameras and EF Cinema lenses.”
The new Hollywood Professional Technology and Support Center is located on the Sunset Gower Studios lot at 6060 Sunset Boulevard. Appointments can be made at 1-855-CINE-EOS. There are free workshops coming up too, including a presentation by the DP for ‘Saturday Night Life’ Alex Buono.
