The latest app from the folks at Chainfire offers you the ability to control your Canon camera from your Android device. Specifically, it allows you to control your Canon camera from the Samsung Galaxy S2 or a tablet using the Honeycomb operating system.
You won’t need to connect your camera to a computer to use this functionality which is nice, but you’ll still need to attach USB cable from your device to your camera. Once connected, you can use Live View, adjust focus manually or automatically, control your zoom, view a histogram, modify settings and more.
Keep in mind, this is a beta release, which means the developers have worked out all the major kinks, but not all of them.
You can pick up DSLR Controller now on the Android Marketplace.
