Snorkling in Mexico!,
I bought this case for my Canon Powershot SD1200. Sadly enough, my camera broke the day before I left for my trip. However, my sister-in-law used it instead because she has the same camera. I too tried it out.
Pros:
**No water go into the case
**The case is easy to seal
**The case has a wrist strap included
**Got some fabulous pictures
Cons:
**You do have to be careful to line the camera up in the case to make sure you don’t get a black ring around your photos
**The zoom function on the camera was difficult to access at times because of the case
Overall, great price for what you get. Much better than settling to buy a cheap underwater camera!

Much better than a waterproof camera!,
I purchased this for a marine biology study abroad to the Bahamas. I was debating between buying a waterproof camera and this case, and I’m so glad I got this case! One girl had a Kodak waterproof camera that lasted two days before it filled with water, and another girl had a really expensive (around $400) waterproof camera that lasted a week before it filled with water. I have a beat up 5-year-old Kodak EasyShare and this case allowed me to take great pictures, in and out of the water. The case protected from harsh salt water, fresh water, sand, and dirt. We were snorkeling twice a day for about 2 hours at a time for a 3 week class and the case is still in perfect condition. The only negative is that if you use flash, you have to be careful to push the case over the flash or else it will just reflect off of the inside of the case and your picture will look awful, but this is not an issue in bright water or during the day (I had problems on a night snorkel and in a cave). All in all, I would definitely recommend buying this case, especially over a waterproof camera. Great product!!

Works great overall.,
This simply works great if you just want occasional underwater photos or video. We took lots of snorkeling video that was fun to share.
One caveat, if you open it you may get just a few drops of water inside that lead to condensation. I put it in the sun for a while and propped the ziplock portion open and it was good to go.
One minor issue is that the camera can shift a little to be off center relative to the glass and your images will get cropped. I didn’t have the right materials with me but two pieces of foam for the end and bottom would help to keep the camera in the right location.
