We all dream of the ideal places to go
on trips to take pictures, but there’s one place that not a lot of
people get to visit – North Korea. Sophie Schmidt, daughter of
former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, took a recent trip to the closed-off
country and shared both her experiences and photographs from her
visit.
If you’ve not had a peek into North
Korea before, it might not be what you expect. Some of the
architecture is stunning, cars look relatively recent and their
university is fairly well equipped. Despite all of these modern
touches, there are still photographs that look like those of the
Soviet Union under Stalin.
