For those adventurous types who are looking to capture their exploits, Sony has created two new Action Cams for 2016. The new “top-of-the-line” camera in their Action Cam lineup is the FDR-X3000R.
This compact FOV camera offers some appealing features, including built-in Balanced SteadyShot Image Stabilization, high-quality 100MB 4K video capture using Sony’s XAVC S codec, high-speed 1080p HD video at up to 120fps, and three FOV lens settings (narrow, medium, wide); packed into a body with a slashproof design. Sony includes an underwater housing with both the X3000 and X3000R kits, with the latter also receiving their wicked Live-View Remote control unit; which not only gives you a viewfinder, but full remote control also.
