The folks at LaCie are all about
keeping your data as safe as it could possibly be, but that’s not to
say they’ve no interest in speed. The newest drive from the company
is equipped with USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt, so you’ll get incredibly
fast transfer rates with speeds of up to 380MB/s.
The new drive is, of course, built to
LaCie’s standards of toughness. The drive is protected from drops of
up to four feet and since it’s a solid state drive you don’t have to
worry about vibration and shock.
The LaCie Rugged USB 3.0 hard drive
comes in three different models. You can pick up a 120GB SSD for
$ 199, a 256GB SSD for $ 349 or a 1TB HDD for $ 249.
