Nikon will be celebrating their 100th anniversary of being in business this year, and they’ve already started to publicize the event with the creation of a new 100th Anniversary Logo and Website.
The famous photography company was established in Japan on July 25th of 1917 as Nippon Kogaku Kogyo Kabushikigaisha (aka Japan Optical Industries Co., Ltd.), and since then they’ve enjoyed amazing success as one of the top manufacturers of film and digital products in the world; offering a wide range of products, including SLRs and DSLRs, high-quality lenses, powerful point-n-shoot cameras, etc. Some could argue that at many times, throughout their history, Nikon has set the standard that all other cameras were measured by.
