According to a recent survey by J.D. Power and Associates, Nikon Pro Series cameras have the greatest rate of customer satisfaction among online camera buyers.
Data from around 4,500 buyers was compiled for the study which asked about different factors including shutter speed/lag time, picture quality and durability. Nikon’s Pro Series cameras ranked highest, while the Canon D-Series and Nikon D-Series tied for second.
The study showed that a third of buyers are using their cameras to shoot video and that, on average, photographers are taking 918 photos a month.
It’s also interesting to note that around 30 percent of respondents chose their camera based on overall performance. The same amount chose theirs based on brand reputation and brand loyalty.
