The folks over at Samsung are making a change in their focus. They’re going to go ahead and slow down low-end compact camera production, and instead set their sights on the mirrorless market.
The company has high hopes that this will get them up from a 5% market share to 25% share by 2015. That’s a big increase, but with mirrorless camera sales on the rise, it just might work out for Samsung.
The company’s going to convert its main Chinese plant over shortly, so we should see the results fairly soon.
