Sony has just released a new line of high-speed XQD format memory cards, which boast read speeds of up to 400MB/s. The new G-series cards support both USB 3.0 and PCI Express Gen2 interfaces, with write speeds of up to 350MB/s; which is about three times faster than their N-series XQD cards. Sony is currently offering capacities from 32GB up to 128GB, and they supply a handy USB 3.0 card reader with each card. Pricing is from about $ 165 for the 32GB model, on up to $ 800 for the 128GB model.
