At their press event this evening, Sony launched five new Cyber-Shot models in to the market; the DSC-H200, DSC-TF1, DSC-W730, DSC-W710, and the DSC-WX80. While each model represents one of three popular lines from Sony (their super-zoom H-series, lifeproof T-series, and compact W-series), they all have a few things in common. Each model boasts enhanced Intelligent or Superior Auto modes, improved AF speed, upgraded image stabilization systems (aka SteadyShot and Optical SteadyShot), improved intelligent flash units, and enhanced picture effects; including the new Virtual Cosmetic Surgery mode. Pricing seems to be quite good as well, with the four out of the five cameras coming in under $ 200, and the most expensive unit being just $ 250.
