Tamron has just unveiled two new Super Performance (SP) series prime lenses for use on Canon, NIkon, and Sony (available at a later date) DSLRs, with the new SP 35mm F/1.8 Di VC USD (Model F2012) and SP 45mm F/1.8 Di VC USD (Model F2013).
Proudly displaying their SP badges, these new lenses are aimed at professional and enthusiast photogs who are looking for high performance lenses at a more affordable price tag, when compared to the competition. On top of offering high-quality construction, like the use of XD and XLD glass elements, these new primes offer a fast f/1.8 maximum aperture and Tamron’s proven VC (Vibration Compensation) system.
