Though nowhere near as popular as utilizing the standard two dimensions, 3D photos and videos are starting to take off – there’s genuine interest in both capturing and viewing images in 3D. What there isn’t though is a simple way to share your 3D content with others.
3DMedia is going to be bringing tools that do just that to CES 2012, which starts next week. Software and technology for a wide range of devices will be shown, including 3D TVs, cell phones, PCs and more.
“To accelerate the proliferation of 3D,” says Tassos Markas, president of 3DMedia, “we are developing an ecosystem that will allow consumers to easily create high-quality personal 3D content that they can share with friends and family.”
