PhotoShelter Releases Crowdfunding Guide

Crowdfunding.jpgIt’s tough getting the money together to fund your own photography project, but there are a few ways to get the cash to pursue your art. The most popular one in recent years – perhaps thanks in whole to the internet – is crowd funding.

Pages like Kickstarter gives people the opportunity to invest in new products and gives inventors and artists to get a bit of capital to support their projects. The folks over at PhotoShelter have released a new guide to make things a little easier for photographers considering the crowdfunding route.

“Every day we see more and more photographers successfully launch crowdfunding projects to help support their work,” says PhotoShelter CEO Allen Murabayashi. “By sharing the experiences of those who have succeeded and failed, this new guide will provide photographers the tools they need to reach their crowdfunding goals”
