Got this for a salmon fishing trip. Was able to see the salmon very clearly through the water as they swam by and got some great pictures and video. I am thrilled with this camera accessory.

Works perfectly on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35, July 6, 2010

This polarizer works perfectly on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 12.1MP Digital Camera with 18x POWER Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD and does not affect the auto-focus. It is also thin enough to prevent vignetting on wide-angle shots (many polarizers are too thick and you get dark corners in the photos). This is a linear polarizer, but this camera model does not need a more expensive circular one.

Contrary to what another reviewer states, no special adapter is needed. This polarizer screws directly into the 46mm lens thread, as will any other 46mm filter. However, this will be difficult if the camera is off and the lens is retracted. It’s best to power up the camera first and do it when the lens is out. You can leave this filter on the camera at all times, if you wish. When the camera is off and the lens is retracted, the outer lens cap protects both the polarizer and lens. If you’re doing a lot of outdoor shooting, that is definitely the way to go.

This is a very well-made polarizer, and works great on my Lumix LX-3. Unlike many circular polarizers, this one has an anti-reflective coating on it, which prevents ugly reflections from ruining my pics. This is a very well-made piece of glass, and I thought it was well worth the rather steep price.
