Every year the folks at the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) gather up to vote on the best of the best products for the year. This year is no different, and the 2012 winners in each of 40 categories have been announced.
DSLRs are broken into a few different categories. In the entry level, the Nikon D5100 took the cake while Nikon’s D800 earned the prize in the expert category. Canon took the other two DSLR categories with the best pro DSLR – the EOS-1D X – and the best DSLR for video – the EOS 5D Mark III.
