Yesterday, Sony Electronics quietly released information about an all new full-frame Alpha series ILC, the a7 Mark II. Sporting very similar specifications to the a7, including the same 24.3-megapixel full-frame Exmor CMOS image sensor, Fast Hybrid AF system, and 3.0-inch tilting display, the Mark II adds support for Sony’s newer XAVC-S video codec, an all new 5-axis in-body image stabilization system (compensates for up 4.5 stops), improved shooting and AF performance over its predecessor, and a few design tweaks.
