Last year’s Project Imagin8ion put photographers in charge of helping to inspire Ron Howard and daughter Bryce Dallas Howard to make a short film. This year, the project is called Project Imaginat10n and it brings more celebrities into the mix to make even more films.
The number 10 in the title of the film festival refers to ten different storytelling elements in the ten films that will eventually be produced – five directed by the celebrities that Canon has partnered with and five by yet unannounced directors.
In addition to oversight by Ron Howard, you’ll find the likes of Jamie Foxx and Eva Longoria getting in on the action. The other directors are Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, fashion designer Georgina Chapman and James Murphy – the man behind the band LCD Soundsystem.
