Canon has launched a new program made to help out indie filmmakers by lending them out an EOS C300 camcorder package. It won’t cost the filmmakers a dime – all that’s required of them is to create their vision on film.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Canon, a company that shares our vision of supporting cinema as art,” says Film Independent co-president Josh Welsh. “So many of our Fellows are already working with Canon’s existing equipment, so to be able to shoot their films with these new cameras will truly elevate their production experience and bring their films to life.”
