Well this a weird one. Debbie Payne, a woman living in Northern California, heard a loud crash outside her house. She went to look and found a large hole in her roof, as if something had fallen from the sky and torn right through it.
Well something did fall from the sky, but not what you’d expect. It wasn’t a rock or some debris from a plane, but a Canon 24-105mm lens. Needless to say, the lens was completely destroyed. The homeowner reports that the 9 inch hole will cost around $ 5,000 to repair.
Authorities are looking into finding the person responsible, but don’t expect anyone to fess up to dropping a thousand dollar lens while flying in a plane or hot air balloon or gliding through the sky thanks to their innate power of flight. Hey, superheroes take pictures too.
