We’ve mentioned Ikea products once or twice before as components to be used in DIY projects, but this is the first time we’ve brought them up as an actual place to buy cameras. That’s right, everyone’s favorite maker of furniture that needs to be assembled with an Allen wrench may be entering the camera market.
Ikea isn’t creating a DSLR or selling high-end cameras, but may start selling some novel cardboard disposable cameras. They gave these cameras out at a press event and they were well received enough that actual camera production may be next.
