We’ve been impressed with Canon’s SX-series of Ultra-Zoom cameras since the SX10 IS back in 2008, and their latest SX60 HS is no exception. This camera boasts an almost unbelievable optical zoom range of 21mm – 1365mm, which equates to 65x magnification. This is paired with a HS series CMOS image sensor that provides 16-megapixels of resolution, Canon’s DIGIC 6 image processing unit, and an Intelligent IS system. This combination allows the SX60 HS to offer improved performance, image quality, and video quality over past models. They’ve also bundled built-in Wi-Fi, NFC technology, and an articulating LCD screen, among other features.
