Yesterday we reported on Lexar’s brand new 256GB SD cards – an industry first – but that’s not all the company is up to. They’ve also introduced SDHC and SDXC cards that boast a great deal of speed.
The new Lexar Professional cards operate at 400x and 600x speeds, all using UHS-I technology. The 400x cards are capable of 60MB per second minimum transfer speeds while the 600x cards get a minimum transfer speed of 90MB per second.
Lexar’s new cards also offer Image Rescue for recovery of corrupted or deleted files as well as a lifetime warranty and free customer support.
The Lexar Pro 600x cards launch in February at prices ranging from $ 75 for 16GB to $ 269 for 64GB. You’ll also be able to pick up the 400x cards next month starting at $ 35 for 8GB and up to $ 299 for 128GB.
