SmugMug is a very slick photo sharing site that lets people buy your pictures in whatever format they desire. Whether they want a photo book, a print, or even a coffee mug; they can get it without you actually having to create the item.
The folks at SmugMug kicked things up a notch today with the addition of Photo Extras. Photo Extras is a service made just for the company’s pro users and gives customers the option to buy your pictures with mats, frames, mounting and finishes. It’ll come to them complete and ready for wall-mounting.
Currently, Photo Extras are only able to be sold at the default price. You’ll still make a profit, but as of right now you can’t mark-up for upgrades. SmugMug says that’s on the radar.
