The last few years have seen quite a bit of evolution in the digital camera space, with smart phone competition really helping to drive innovation; especially in point-n-shoots. Customers are liking the changes, and coming to expect them from their digital cameras.
Market Insight Corporation’s latest survey revealed that more customers than ever are looking for Wi-Fi in their digital cameras – 7.9%. It’s a number that’s been growing steadily, quarter over quarter. This time last year, we were only at 5.5%.
The brands that were most commonly linked to Wi-Fi cameras by customers were Samsung, with 17% of customers wanting the feature and Fujifilm, with 13%.
