Boasting a constant F2.8 maximum aperture across its 24-70mm focal range, it also features a new Dual MPU (Micro Processing Units) for improved autofocus speed and accuracy, up to five stops of vibration compensation (VC), and a 9-blade circular aperture for creamy bokeh. Other features include eBAND (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) Coating, to reduce ghosting and flare during backlighting, moisture-resistant construction, and a Fluorine Coating on the front and rear elements to help clean off any dust and fingerprints.
