Over the weekend we published two new digital video camera reviews. First we have Kodak’s affordable Playfull Ze2, which is an ultra-compact unit that boasts simple operation, 720p HD video recording, 1-megapixel stills, easy uploading to your favorite social sites (like Facebook), and waterproof, dustproof and shockproof specifications. All this for just $ 99 USD or less.
Next we have a higher end model, which was designed for those into extreme sports and other adventures. The Contour+ is high-quality video camera that records full 1080p HD video at 30fps, along with various lower resolution settings; like 720p at 60fps. This camera comes with various mounting options that allow you to attach it to head gear, your car, etc. While only splashproof, Contour offers an inexpensive waterproof housing that lets you take the Countor+ just about anywhere. This camera is in direct competition with models like the GoPro HD Hero.
