The newest version of Zoner Photo Studio includes plenty of new editing features, upgrades and a few interface changes, but the biggest improvement is to the program’s quick processing times.
“What we’re most proud of this year is the great strides we’ve taken in speed,” says development team director Ales Hasala. He says that this step forward is because instead of just using the CPU of a computer to process information, Photo Studio 14 is using the graphics processor too. “We have the world’s first digital photography processing software that can effectively take advantage of CUDA and OpenCL.
Zoner Photo Studio 14 also adds editing tools like Tone Mapping, Deform, and a tool called Fill with Surroundings that aims to make taking something out of a picture as smooth as can be – similar to Photoshop’s Content-Aware Fill.
You can pick up Zoner Photo Studio 14 PRO for $ 69 and the HOME edition for $ 35. You can also try out Photo Studio 14 free for 30 days directly from Zoner.
