Even the best photo software in the
world can’t make up for a bad monitor. If colors aren’t accurately
represented on your screen, the final result is going to end up
skewed. Dell promises incredible accuracy and plenty of power in its
latest.
The highest of the high is the
UltraSharp 3014. It comes in at $ 1,499 and gives you 30 inches of
screen with a 2560×1600 resolution. It packs the same 14-bit look-up
table and 12-bit processor as the 24 inch version and 27 inch
version, but with a nice extra chunk of screen.
Dell says that their monitors come with
certified reports of exact color calibration and support 99 percent
of AdobeRGB and 100 percent of sRGB colors. The $ 999, 2560×1440
U2713H and $ 599 1920×1200 U2413 are available now. The 3014 is
listed as coming soon.
