Magic markers have never really lived
up to their name, but this tip from DIY Photogrpahy sure does add
some magic to your shots. If you’re looking for a bit of haze or an
ethereal hint of color, all you really need is a sandwich bag and
some magic markers.
It’s simple enough to do. Take a clear
plastic bag, use a maker to give it the color you want, tear a hole
in the bottom of the bag and put it around your lens, with a bit of
the bag falling into frame. If you’re looking for more of a hazy
light-leak effect, a clear bag will get you there.
