When Google does things, Google does things big. The new Google Photography Prize is proof of this – it’s their first photography competition, but it’s fairly substantial in terms of reach and prizes.
Top prize for the competition is a photography trip with a pro photo coach to anywhere in the world. You pick the destination. The top 10 finalists will have their photos displayed at the Saatchi Gallery in London and the top 100 will all get a Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone.
Entering the contest is free and easy – you just need to create an album on Google+ and fill out a submission form. There are 10 different categories you can submit in and you’ve got until January 31st to get your photos in. Good luck!
